OUR JOURNEY
Advanta was founded in 2003 by a group of like-minded senior loss adjusters and forensic accountants specialised in the fields of construction, energy and industrial and commercial risks. Their vision was to build a specialist technical adjusting firm, recognised for its independence, high service standards and professional expertise.
Originally based in UK, Germany and Spain, Advanta quickly extended its reach to other countries like Portugal, Argentina and Mexico, after the destructive hurricane Wilma in 2005.
Advanta saw a new expansion phase commencing in 2011 with the opening of its first office in the US and, subsequently, Sub-Saharan Africa in 2012 and Brazil in 2014.
With presence in 4 major insurance regions at the time, Advanta embarked itself on an expansion strategy based on leading regional offices and exclusive associated offices that shared its vision and core values, bringing a wealth of new territories to its network over the first half of the decade. By 2015, Advanta had presence in over 40 countries.
The following years’ strategy focused on extending Advanta’s regional offices to key territories partnering up with highly regarded loss adjusters who shared their vision and passion for best-in-class professional standards. During that period, Advanta reached significant milestones with the opening of offices in Oman, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar in the Middle East, France, servicing French territories and French speaking African countries, Colombia, and Dominican Republic.
Subsequent efforts to build a comprehensive network to meet the needs of Advanta’s clients, brought to fruition operations in Chile, Ecuador and Houston.
Advanta has also seen an expansion of its service offering over the years. Originally funded as a firm of technical loss adjusters and as an independent forensic accounting practice, in 2015 Advanta incorporated Risk Engineering services to its portfolio, followed by Quantity Surveying services in 2019, continuing its focus on technical solutions and delivering excellence in each of the fields in which it operates.
