George co-founded Advanta Global Services in 2003 and served as Finance Director and Head of Forensic Accounting before becoming CEO in 2014. Previously, George had held management positions in leading forensic accounting and loss adjusting firms. In the course of his over 30-year career in claims George has led multidisciplinary teams engaged in the valuation and settlement of corporate losses in a wide range of industry sectors all over the world. He has specialised in Business Interruption and ALOP / DSU claims but also possesses experience in Fidelity, Products’ Liability, Bankers’ Blanket Bond and Financial Institutions.

Profile

Oliver has 24 years’ experience in handling technical and/or complex losses across Africa, the Americas, Europe, the Middle- and Far-East. He specializes in handling CAR / EAR claims with associated DSU and is the team lead and Technical Director on numerous major ongoing infrastructure projects. He similarly handles claims in Power Generation, Onshore Energy, Mining and Industrial All Risks including Machinery Breakdown and CPE; whilst also having experience in major property claims. Before joining Advanta in 2005, he had gained valuable experience in working on high-profile losses related to tunnel collapses, major plant and machinery breakdown in the mining, petrochemical and energy sectors. Oliver has experience in handling major & complex losses, managing the interaction required between the insured parties, their broker, insurers/reinsurers, legal counsel and experts. He was the lead adjuster on one of the construction industry’s largest insurance losses to date.

John Donald heads up our Global Energy offering as Global Energy Director. He has worked as an energy loss adjuster for over 30 years, initially in the Middle East before transferring to London in 1990. In recent years he acted as Managing Director and Chairman of The Energy & Natural Resources division of a major loss adjusting firm. He has wide international experience in the onshore and offshore energy markets. John has managed the adjustment of many complex energy claims throughout the world. He also has a wealth of experience in the adjustment of construction claims, hurricane-related losses, property damage, well control and OEE losses, Loss of Production Income (LOPI) and Business Interruption (BI). In his early career he worked at British Steel and on engineering projects in UK-based Petrochemical facilities.

Jose Miguel has 26 years’ experience in engineering, oil field production management and reservoir control, including 18 years in the loss adjusting profession in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean. In addition, he has risk inspection experience, focused on energy facilities (power generation and Oil & Gas). Jose Miguel specialises on property damage business interruption and liability claims related to oil & gas and petrochemicals.

Jesús is a qualified Electrical Engineer with a PhD in Materials Engineering. He has extensive expertise in project and claims management, as well as experience leading international teams. With a strong technical background and strategic vision, he has successfully led complex engineering projects from design to commissioning. His experience includes managing and settling claims up to $450M, as well as playing a key role in floating wind turbine design by overseeing a €100M investment in a new mooring chain production facility. He has also expanded business operations by establishing new service offerings in Sweden for onshore and offshore inspections and risk assessments for major Oil & Gas and renewables clients, as well as opening new offshore market opportunities, including but not limited to Europe, APAC and across the Americas. Jesus holds industry certifications, including OPITO Offshore Safety Training and NDT Level II in Magnetic Particle Testing and Ultrasonic Testing. With a proven track record in handling large-scale projects, he is a valuable asset in the engineering and offshore sectors.

Based in London, he leads the Specialty Risks Division at Advanta, overseeing the management of complex and technical claims worldwide. His focus is on delivering tailored support and strategic value across a broad spectrum of specialist and niche market claims.

Andrew has worked within the UK Insurance market for over 30 years, 25 of which have been as a Loss Adjuster for various companies. During this time, he has developed various skills in claims handling and investigation of claims, working with Composite Insurers, together with the Lloyds and Captive markets. He has experience of dealing with UK catastrophe work and also spent many months working in the Caribbean following Hurricane Dorian, managing numerous multimillion dollar losses. Andrew also spends time working as a client relationship manager for many clients and assists with the development of the UK business/CILA qualifications.

She has led performance-driven initiatives across complex multinational organisations, building strong stakeholder relationships and driving effective cross-functional collaboration. A Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Louise holds an honours degree in Financial Services and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
