He started his career as a research associate in the Nuclear Engineering Department of the University of Michigan (USA) and then joined the Materials Department of the Nuclear Energy Division of CEA Saclay as a Research Engineer. He then worked at AREVA's Reactor Division in Paris as a Materials Expert and then as Manager of the Chemistry, Corrosion and Radiation Protection group. Lionel has the particularity of carrying out an additional activity in beekeeping, which also allows him to respond to assignments' requests in this field.
