Fernando brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong focus on complex claims management in Brazil. His career spans several areas of the insurance market, including underwriting, reinsurance, and claims oversight, supported by a deep technical expertise and a strategic vision. He has successfully handled high-exposure claims involving major Entertainment events and Contingency-related operations, as well as significant losses in Cash-in-Transit (CIT), Agribusiness, Energy, Engineering, and Commercial Property risks. In these areas, he has developed in-depth technical reports, led multilingual communications, and coordinated claim resolutions involving multiple international stakeholders. Throughout his career, Fernando has held senior roles at top insurers, adjusters, and consulting firms, coordinating large losses and leading automation and innovation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. At Advanta, he leads the Rio de Janeiro office and works closely with Brazil Director André Werneck to expand regional operations, ensuring excellence in technical delivery and client service.
