New association in Kenya and Uganda

Advanta Global Services and General Adjusters Group are pleased to formally announce their association in Kenya and Uganda.
At Advanta we have been assisting Insurers and Reinsurers all over the splendid and challenging African continent for more than 15 years. As we continue to expand our footprint across the continent in recent years our goal is to ensure the highest quality in each of the adjusting lines we cover and proximity to the local markets in which we operate.
Advanta Global Services and General Adjusters Group have been working together throughout this recent pandemic period and are now pleased to formally announce their association aimed to provide high quality adjusting services to Insurers and Reinsurers on cover in East Africa.
General Adjusters Group has its head office in Nairobi and branch offices in Mombasa and Kisumu. In Uganda, based in Kampala, General Adjusters is the leading Loss Adjusting and Surveying Company. From these offices, General Adjusters also serves the East and Central African region taking up claim assignments in various countries including Rwanda, Burundi, Southern Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia and Tanzania.
George Macharia, as the Managing Director of General Adjusters Group since 1998 leads a team of high qualified and experienced adjusters. George is a graduate of Nairobi University (BA L. Econ) and Bournemouth University in UK (MSc Loss Adjusting). He was previously the Director for GAB Robins Kenya Ltd. George Macharia is a member of the Institute of Surveyors of Kenya, a Registered Valuer (Valuer’s Registration Board), a member of the Uganda Association of Engineering Valuers and Loss Assessors (UAEVLA), a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters of UK (ACILA) and is a Member of the European Federation of Loss Adjusting Experts (FUEDI-ELAE). He is a former Director of The Insurance Institute of Kenya.
This new strategic association strengthens Advanta’s presence in East Africa, providing our clients with the high-calibre service that they have come to expect alongside first-hand local knowledge and insight.
