ADVANTA has initiated its disaster response plan for catastrophic events in response to the recent events in the Middle East.
Unprecedented levels of rainfall passed through the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia leading to devastating floods. According to the UAE's National Centre of Meteorology, Tuesday marked the largest rainfall event in the country's 75-year recorded history.
Given the significant impact of the event and the potential need for substantial Adjusting resources,
ADVANTA are able to assist our clients with exposures in the region. Our highly skilled
ADVANTAteam in the Middle East; coordinated by John Donald (Regional Director) and Matthew Blaikie (UAE Country Manager), are already actively managing claims throughout the region and are able to offer immediate assistance to support local and international Insurers and Reinsurers.
Our comprehensive team includes licensed Adjusters based in our Dubai and Abu Dhabi office, as well as an extended network across the Middle East, including experienced NATCAT Adjusters in Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, KSA and the wider region. ADVANTA are closely monitoring the extent of damage, assessing potential exposures and are providing initial feedback to local Insurers and Reinsurers.

Our experienced local in-country adjusting teams, supported by our disaster response team within the Middle East have the capacity to respond immediately to wide ranges of claims emanating from NATCAT events including Property, Energy, Business Interruption/Contingent Business Interruption, Liability, and Marine.
Furthermore, our NATCAT disaster response team and local Adjusting operations are fully supported by our Engineering, Quantity Surveying and Forensic Accounting teams.
