ADVANTA has assembled a highly qualified team of technical loss adjusters to provide support to our clients in the US and other key (re)insurance markets, currently facing the impact and ongoing effects of Category 4 Hurricane Ida.
The storm -the fifth strongest to ever hit US mainland- made landfall on Sunday 29th August 2021, hitting Louisiana with winds reaching circa 150mph and making its way north affecting several other states in the US such as Alabama, Mississippi, Virginia and New York, amongst others.
Our team extends its deepest sympathies and condolences to all those affected by this tragic event.
Considering the damage reported on Hurricane Ida’s path, alongside those not yet uncovered, a high number of claims are expected.
