Advanta Bulletin – Hurricane Milton, Category 5 Monster Storm.

Florida is braced for a direct hit as Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall today or early Thursday, with storm surge wind warnings covering almost the entirety of Florida’s western coast and warnings of “ an extreme flooding threat.” There have been widespread evacuation orders in effect throughout Florida as National Hurricane Centre (NHC) advised this is an “extremely powerful hurricane” bringing the risk of catastrophic and life-threatening winds and flooding.

Hurricane Milton is headed for Tampa with sustained winds of 160mph and likely to intensify to 180mph said the NHC.

Since the hurricanes effects are likely to be significant and may require substantial adjusting resources, ADVANTAs has activated its catastrophe response plan.
