Advanta announces new offices in the UK

The Advanta Board of Directors are delighted to announce the opening of two new strategically located UK offices in
Birmingham and
Manchester as it continues to execute its planned Group expansion policy. These new offices will serve the growing needs of the property and liability sectors throughout the UK market.
Andrew Medlicott will head our Birmingham office at The Colmore Building, 20 Colmore Circus Queensway and
Richard Edwards will head our Manchester office located in King Street.
Andrew and Richard who bring a combined 59 years of exceptional claims solutions experience to
Advanta are acknowledged by the UK Insurance Market as having long and successful track records of excellence in handling a wide range of claims throughout the UK.
Andrew has worked within the UK Insurance market for over 30 years, 25 of which have been as a Loss Adjuster for various companies. During this time, he has developed various skills in claims handling and investigation of claims, working with Composite Insurers, together with the Lloyds and Captive markets. He has experience in dealing with UK catastrophe work and also spent many months working in the Caribbean following Hurricane Dorian, managing numerous multimillion dollar losses.
Richard has 29 years’ experience within the Insurance Industry, including 23 years as a Loss Adjuster. He has also worked for a major insurance company, including 2 years as an Underwriter. As a Loss Adjuster, Richard has handled a variety of Commercial and Domestic Property losses, including large and complex losses, HNW losses, fraud investigations and major events such as flooding in Kendal, Sheffield and Hull.
