Responsibilities
The candidate would be responsible for conducting and supervising large and complex claims.
A key component of the role will be the development of our Power & Energy Business in the region. Ideal candidates will have relevant P&E experience and command a market following.
This position is UAE-based but may require international travel.
The candidate will be responsible for delivering loss adjusting services to clients at a consistently high level, and will help to develop and execute an agreed strategy.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for the following activities:
• Active adjustment and claims management activities
• Liaising with Advanta’s international offices
• Participation in the strategic development of Advanta’s global adjusting proposition
• With the support of the marketing team, engage in business development activities
• Dependent on candidate, operational management responsibilities would be required
Skills / Experience / Requirements
Applicants must be authorised to work in the UAE without restrictions.
Ideal applicants will have:
• Strong loss adjusting experience of at least 8 years handling large and complex claims
• Relevant P&E experience and command a market following
• Familiarity with the insurance and reinsurance markets in the Middle East
• Experience of leading meetings and discussing claims with senior personnel
• Preferably CILA qualified
• Own initiative and manage a portfolio of claims within the regional area
