Sherman Binko - Country Manager

Sherman is a Senior Loss Adjuster and member of the International Organization of Experts (ORDINEX). He has over eleven years’ experience managing technical claims in the property, commercial and energy sectors. In addition, he has valuable experience working on high-profile losses related to major plant and machinery breakdown. Sherman specialises in handling major material damage, energy and business interruption claims from the cradle to the grave and has worked on various international losses throughout Europe, Africa and the UAE. He is currently responsible for the operation of the Advanta office in France.

Christopher has over 30 years’ experience in loss adjusting handling a broad range of property claims, often dealing with politically sensitive and multinational clients in France, Switzerland, the Benelux countries, the Indian Ocean region, the Caribbean, as well as the francophone countries of North and West Africa. He also has considerable experience in pre-risk security audits throughout the French speaking countries. During his career, Christophe has held a number of senior management positions at leading claims management international companies based in France. He specialises in claims related to industrial all risks, machinery breakdown, business interruption and fine art.

Anne is a renowned international expert on geopolitical and security issues, including terrorism, with over 20 years’ experience. As a MENA specialist, she founded Intelligence Cluster - Terr(o)Risc in 2005, an internationally recognized consulting organisation in global risks, strategic intelligence, threat assessment and crisis management. She provides operational consultancy to private sector firms governmental bodies in Europe and abroad, notably in the Arab countries and Africa. She also serves the insurance and reinsurance industry, focusing predominantly on claims involving political risks and terrorism. Anne has provided insightful analysis on political risks to global companies, think tanks, training centres, insurance sector and the media. She regularly contributes to strategic studies for specialized institutions and administrations.

Bruno has been working as a veterinary expert within CPA Experts for more than 20 years, and he became the Chairman and CEO in 2016. Bruno began his career in veterinary practices before joining the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Normandy (UCANOR). While working there, and owing to his professional experience as a veterinarian / consultant specialising in poultry and rabbit breeding, Bruno became head of the poultry and rabbit breeding department as well as the monogastric department (pigs, rabbits, poultry). Bruno later joined the Verschoore expertise firm in Rouen where he worked as an expert for insurance companies.

Yann spent a large part of his career so far working for the bank Union Financière de France, a subsidiary of Aviva. Over the course of nearly 20 years, Yann worked his way up from Management Advisor to Director of the Corporate Market. Yann then joined AVIVA World Insurance Company and was in charge of several transformation projects in Europe, before taking over the management of the Sales and Marketing Plan. In 2014, Yann became CEO of IXI-Groupe, a French network of insurance experts, actively contributing to the development of the Group and its services, with the creation of the IXI-Plus subsidiary and other innovative offers and expertise.

Samuel has 28 years’ experience working at CPA Experts, including 8 years as Chairman and CEO of the company. Prior to this, Samuel was the Commercial Director at the design and implementation company SEIV. In addition, Samuel has held positions including Head of the Radioactive Waste Sector and of the Export Department at Areva-STMI and Director of the Industrial Engineering and Quality Department at Thalès (formerly Sodeteg). Samuel began his career at Ecopol-Serete - Paris and Ecopolsa-Sereland - Madrid (now Jacobs) as a Project Manager and following this, Samuel joined Technicatome (now Areva TA).

Bertrand has spent most of his career in claims management. Having started in the litigation and physical injury department, Bertrand then moved on to corporate risk in a large international company (Allianz), initially as a Manager of the "Corporate Liability Department" and later on as Deputy Director of the Key Account Compensation Department. Since 2006, Bertrand has been in charge of the external relations of CPA Experts and Quality Management.
