Jose Miguel has 23 years of extensive experience in engineering, oil field production management and reservoir control, including 18 years in the loss adjusting profession in the United States, South America and the Caribbean region. In addition, he has experience in risk inspection, focused in energy facilities (power generation and Oil & Gas). Jose Miguel specialises in claims related to oil & gas, petrochemicals, property, as well as business interruption and liability.

Gustavo has 10 years’ experience in structural design and oil & fuel tanks MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul). Throughout his career, he worked as an engineer mainly on urban development projects, as well as on various civil construction projects being responsible for quality control of raw materials and finished products. Gustavo successfully completed the Engineering Insurance Underwriting course taught by IMIA, which is endorsed by the German Insurance Academy. Gustavo specialises in construction and energy claims and is currently coordinator of US services within the Miami office.Languages: English and Spanish.

Prior to commencing his loss adjusting career, Jorge developed wide-ranging experience having led an array of tunnelling, construction and sewerage projects as well as undertaking geotechnical surveys on several industrial plants, construction sites and residential properties. He has also undertaken various risk surveys throughout the course of his career on various power plants and commercial properties. As a loss adjuster, Jorge has handled property damage losses resulting from flooding, landslides, earthquakes, hurricanes and cyclones. He has also managed complex claims involving waterways, desalination plants, hotels and convention centres amongst others. He has specialised in CAR / EAR, machinery breakdown, contractors’ plant equipment and fire risks. Jorge has published various research reports for the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources of Cuba, as well as for the College of Engineers of Venezuela and other professional publications in Spain. Moreover, Jorge has been a keynote speaker on technical topics at engineering conferences in Cuba.Languages: Spanish, French, Russian and basic knowledge of English and Italian.

Argie is a qualified civil engineer with extensive experience handling major and complex losses across the world including Venezuela, Mexico, the Caribbean and Spain. Throughout her career she has applied her extensive civil engineering and architecture expertise in major infrastructure projects (urbans and ports), tunnels, highways and metros in the USA and Spain predominantly. She has also developed her technical proficiency in handling NATCAT losses that have occurred as a result of various hurricanes, cyclones and severe flooding globally. She has also worked on numerous complex losses in heavy industry, ports and waterways.Languages: Spanish, French, English, Italian and Portuguese.
